Default low voltage to radio/ccc/iDrive

So, my 2004 BMW 545i suddenly lost the Idrive - it gets no power, ie the lights on the CD player does not light. I replaced the MPM (which was wet and obviously fried), and several fuses both in the glove box and trunk. I also checked the 20amp fuse on the back of the CCC and it is fine. I found out what pins I needed to check to see the Radio/CD player was getting power and it only is getting a little over 2 volts. Clearly it should be 12 (like what I am getting for the input for the climate controls). Any ideas why it would be low? There is moisture in the glove box which is not reassuring. Any other place I should look? Thanks!
Could it mean the wiring is toast?

Those wires behind the radio with the 2 volts is the answer to your problem. Simply follow those wires back to there source. Along the way there will be connections, check both sides of the connectors until you locate 12 vdc on one side and 2 vdc on the other. Repair the connection and your radio should be back . . . .
