Low Oil Pressure warning

My Ride: 2004 530i, Silver Gray, Premium Pkg, Cold Weather package, Black Leather seats with lumbar support, Poplar wood finish.

I have an 04 530i with approximately 80K. About a month ago I received this exact error - low oil pressure. I let the car cool down and I then checked the oil. Everything seemed in check, but I added some oil just in case (within the limits), but I knew I was going to take the car in just for the piece of mind. In total I received the error 3 times over the month, so I finally dropped it off at the dealer last Tuesday June 16th 2009. Later that afternoon I received a call from BMW saying had a faulty oil pressure sensor, so they replaced it under the CPO - copay $50.

I also looked up the TIS to change the Oil Pressure sensor. It is pretty straight forward...the sensor is under the Oil filter and the Intake box just has to be removed to access it.

I switch off the car and let it cool down abit and it gone afterwards, it happens to me once every two months or so.

Hey guys, this is my first post on this website, I have recently bought an 04 530i with 101k miles. I'm now getting this same oil pressure warning. Been into my local mechanic who said there is plenty of pressure, took the car In today to have the pressure sensor and the filter cap both replaced. Still getting the same fault. To be specific, I don't get the fault until after some highway driving and coming to a stop at a traffic light. Both conditions have to be met for the warning to show up. I'm thinking i may have the wrong oil weight put in before I bought the car. Any ideas??? Thanks!
