Low mileage premium

I am planning to buy a 2007 530i via an auction through a dealer. I have shortlisted two cars, both are in a great condition:
Option A: Premium Package + Sports Package + Navigation, 42000 miles
I think I can get this for about USD 26000 (excluding tax, tag, title)
Option B: Premium Package + Navigation, 12000 miles (no odometer fraud)
How much more should I expect to pay for this one? Which option should I go with?
I don't want to pay too much more for this one since the time remaining warranty is same for both the cars (1 year) and I can buy extended warranty for A with the money saved.
Any feedback is appreciated.
cheers

Personally I LOVE the sports package. I found the tighter suspension and all much more enjoyable. Again this is just my opinion. Good Luck and let us know what you decide.

My personal opinion would be option A. I too think the sports package makes a great difference overall.
Question for you, I have a 2006 550i (look at signature) w/48000 and warranty through 3/12/2012. What do you think my car is worth? Its a great looking car and is in perfect shape.

Thats a tough one. While I prefer the sports package, I am also a big fan of low mile vehicles. I just purchased an 06 550i with 12k miles and I did pay a premium for it. ($37,500) It was a CPO car that is literally perfect in every way. There is not a mark on this car and you can eat off the bottom of this vehicle. With that said, I did not mind paying a few thousand more. Good luck with your decision.

42,000 miles on a 2007 is actually pretty good and you get the sports suspension. I would personally go for the first one. A big car such as the E60 would be better served with a sports suspension and that's exactly what I will get next, if I can find one with real tires.

I wouldn't buy either one. Are you aware that the BMW dealers have some awesome incentives on 2007 5 series CPO cars right now. For example you can find a car equipped like your first choice above for about $29k if you bargain hard enough. Rates ae .9% and they pay your first 2 payments and it has CPO warranty on it.

Thanks for all the feedback guys.....I didn't get either one at the auction. My bids were $1000 short on the first one and $300 short for the second one (my wife felt really bad that we lost by such a small amount).
Just an FYI....Option A went for $26.5k and Option B for $30.5K. Do the prices and the difference sound reasonable for the specs?
