Low Coolant Warning

Just took a look under the hood after a spirited drive and the lower hose is warm now that the system is functioning properly, upper hose is hot. Feeling the difference in temperature hoping that I did not cause any damage to the engine while I was driving the car, never got a temp warning but only time will tell. Have to say it's a fantastic feeling to turn off the car and not get that low coolant warning.

I know, tell me about it. It's almost a weird feeling when you turn off the car and there's no (warning) sound, as if something is missing :-)
