So when I'm driving my 04 530 I hear a lound knocking coming from the rear of my a car if you're inside it seems like right under the center console or just behind it. If you cruise at a constant speed you wont hear it, but as you press the accelerator it will get really wild ( maybe driveshaft related),I had similar probem on my 01 330 so I jacked it up and looked at me guibo and it looks pretty stout so I dont know what else it could be. Any ideas guys/gals

Thnks in advance
Tony

If your guibo looks good then check other items:
#8 Carrier Bearing
#12 U Joint
#17 CV Joint
Is the car high mileage or exposed to deep water at times?

RealOEM is the sight where the driveshaft diagram came from. If you can't get your car on a lift to check the driveline
jack it up, safely, and have a look at those components. Also have a closer look at the guibo. I think it is the most prone
to wear.
Good luck and let us know what you find
