I fortunately had my runflats replaced for free by the dealer. They warned me that it was difficult to replace tires...but I did not expect that upon return of the car, I noticed that three wheels lost some of the little square weights...leaving unsightly black marks where the weights used to be. Is there a way to replace these?

The weights weren't likely "lost", they were just replaced with new weights in different locations.
You don't want to "replace" the weights, you just want to clean the wheels where the weights were...

Right the weights were not lost. they rebalanced the wheel and applied new wights at different location to keep the wheel spinning nice and smooth. You'll have to clean the old spot to make it look nice again.

Every time new tyres are put on old wheels the balance have to be found.
It's made with small (5 - 20 g) alumium pieces.
The old ones are removed and new ones are attached.
They are usually glued to the inside of the wheel.
18" inch wheels needs highly scilled equipment and personnal to get the
job done right.
If you feel any kind of vibrations in the steering wheel, the balance is not right.
Speeds around 90 km/h tells you the fact.
Also remember tighten the bolts to momentum after some 500 miles driven.

Thanks All,
It's just that I never had this problem with any other bimmers or any other car I've owned before. Either the weights were never removed or previous dealers cleaned the black gunk after they replaced my tires...it just seems cheap that the dealer couldn't clean the previous locations for me on this car! BTW I have weights on both the inside and the outside...but all behind the spokes.

I'm betting that in the past they cleaned the gunk. There's no way they didn't remove the weights because you would have had vibrations each and every time...
