Ordered a m-tech rear bumper from m_quad, but can't decide if I should paint the diffuser titanium silver to match the car or paint it flat black? Any comments or suggestions?
If someone in this forum has this setup, please post a pic of your car. I have done some searching and can only find this grey e60 with carbon fiber diffuser, not exactly the same but close. It looks pretty cool to me ...your thoughts?

IMO or you put the carbon fiber one or you paint it in the same colour as the rest of the car.

I don't like it in black. To 99.999% of people it would just look like a cheap non body coloured bumper section. Me being one of them!

+1 - I agree.

If you paint it and don't like it, you can always give it to me!

I like it like the 3-series has it. Some kind of matte grey.

Agree, I still think it looks better matching the car.
Cheers

I had it on my 3er m-sport and loved the look of it. This was mainly because there were also black strips going around the ourside of the car and bumpers, so it complemented them well. Not seen it in person on the E60 though. It would probably need to have shaddow line and other black and/or tinted features to really work well

// marco.it has a carbon diffuser on his silver-grey E61 m-sport: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=43543

This is the only car I remember seeing here in the forum with that set up -- other than the one posted above of course!

Here are some more photos I've just taken in the garage. Sorry but inside it is dark and even with the flash it is not so light.

It has to be Carbon Fiber or it needs to be the same color as the car.
