looking for steps to replace coolant expansion tank hose on 550i N62TU
I would like to replace this hose on my wife's 550i. I have two 550i and both have a slow coolant leak. I had expansion tanks replaced (was leaking on my wife's car) and replaced o-ring on the temperature sensor that connects to the radiator hose. The car is slowly loosing coolant. Today I discovered that the hose has a leak around the permanently attached clamp near the connector that goes to expansion tank.
Upon further inspection it also looks like there is some dry coolant near the y adaptor on the engine side. It would be an easy job with intake manifold removed but I obviously don't want to go that route. I wonder if removing the throttle body would be sufficient to gain enough access. The Y adaptors are known to crack and some people succeeded purchasing brass Y adaptor. Though since I have a leak on the other side under the crimp I would be better off replacing this hose entirely. Looking for DIY if there is one. Thanks.

Disconnect sensor on the right side of the throttle body
Remove 4 bolts holding the throttle body
Now you should have enough place to access the hose
Cover the intake and air filter to prevent stuff getting inside and remove the hose
You do need to drain the coolant before following these steps and refill afterwards to prevent coolant leaking.
