About Comfort Access.

The justification for CA is really quite simple. Without CA, the new fob/start button system is a bit silly and requires extra unnecessary steps compared to the prior key setup.

It only makes sense WITH CA.
Good point on the CA! Will likely add it. Thanks to all who added thoughts. And Pharding makes an excellent point about Silver Grey. My current 545 is SG and the upkeep is so easy relative to other colors and that is part of the concern about the Carbon Black. Not just the swirls the overall upkeep week-to-week. I'll have to really put some thought to this decision....

... from my experience with my previous black 540 upkeep is day to day not week to week ! But we do get a lot of rain! IMHO

Thx westcoast550, that is my concern. Pretty rainy here in New Orleans as well and at this point in my life, I simply don't always have the time for weekly hand washes. Maybe I should move to So Cal!

Good point. Better give Al and Tipper a call to see how I can get the proper carbon offsets. Heck, if they can get them for the G5 they fly around in, surely I can get some and still be labled a green like them...

Well, I don't know about the land of freedom, but definitely the land of lower priced cars and lower taxes on petrol!
