I have PDF owner's manuals for LCI E60 in German (EU models) and English (US models).

It does exist but you have to beg BMW for it. All manuals are available in PDF format. The 2006 manual hosted here is from me, when I bought my car I got BMW to send me that. It took a lot of convincing and when it was listed here, I got a call from BMW asking me to taking it down! I told them they were being stupid about this because in NA, the manuals can be downloaded off the BMW website....

Thanks Bruce, that's what I thought. Their approach is funny.
I once tried to call a local BMW representative in my country and actually in just 3 days I received a DVD with the requested manual, no complains whatsoever. But it was delivered in a non-searchable, very lame Flash compiled format.
Can you share your general contact in BMW UK/Europe so me or others can e-mail them for EN manuals in PDF? Where did you get the contact?

I was put in touch with BMW UK via my dealer, who themselves couldn't get the manual as a pdf for me. I'm sorry but I cannot give you the name of the person who gave me the manual in the end. They were rather cross that I put it up here.

I've called general customer support and was told the problem is that BMW is not happy about providing PDF manuals because people can make printed copies of it and sell illegally.
I don't know how big the fake manuals market is, but just by looking around internet and eBay, it's definitely not that big enough to disadvantage valuable customers. And so they normally do provide manuals (any you like), but in a Flash format which is not searchable and very user unfriendly.
You have to beg and then they might try to check or ask the documentation department to provide a PDF.
