Default Looking for E60 550i LCI DME software number

as per title looking 550i LCI DME software number to flash my pre LCI DME
I have retrofitted LCI tranny on my pre LCI but I have one error no communication between DME and EGS both connected properly to CAN. Because of that error tranny is in limp mode (3rd gear). I think it missing some sort of signal from DME

Anyone with 550i LCI can you check DME software number with INPA or ISTA/P?

I will try to help you. Looking at the shifter you have non sat transmission. I have 2 550i's one with sat and one without. I should be able to pull fw rev when I get back from work.

if you have a chance just check on both if you using INPA it will take minutes to read ZB number for DME with ISTA it would take longer but I really need these numbers to flash my DME. my current ZB number 7575818 I think this is why I have problem tranny is of lci but DME still has pre LCI software

anything for the fellow bmw owner (note I got this for you before I fed myself, no dinner yet lol)

Here is what I've got:
09 non SAT
DME/DDE 7605928
EGS 7592146

10 sat
DME/DDE 7605928
EGS 7592142
As you can see they match up but the one you have doesn't. Let us know how it plays out.

BTW you may want to integrate Sport button, flash EGS and code car to $2TB
Here are two threads on that topic: https://5series.net/forums/e60-discu...-meant-127596/
https://5series.net/forums/e60-parts...-55056/page64/
I thought about doing it on my 09 non sat while keeping the original shifter and not bothering with paddle shifter/wheel swap. Since you are coding the car you might as well try that.

you are a star! I am going to play with this number and see what happens. I will do an update later. I am aware about SAT but at the moment I have to solve my problem then I can think about SAT which is straight forward DIY in my opinion.

lci box has never happened because lci dme paired with cas3 it is not confirmed these lci modules will communicate with rest of pre lci modules so I had to stop experiments and put old box back
