I am searching for a part but still can't find it. Below are the photos

I bought and tried below bulb but it doesn't fit.

When I took off the headlight bolt slipped and disappear, so I need them as well. I believe it is 5/16 or 9/32 not sure.

Any help is appreciated.

Bulb here in U.S. is usually the inner bulb which is H7 but yours seem to be different. Bolt is probably down in your under belly cover. The bulb just above is probably for foglights. I dont know what bulb you have specifically. why don't you look here www.realoem.com to get the bulb type... you didn't specify halogen or xenons so not quite sure. You find it below, maybe another member will be able to tell you.

bolt is #14

I still can't the part number on the website. This bulb is different as compared to standard one. Bulb type is halogen. I searched ebay and amazon both returns zero result. I will call dealer for the price quote.

Thanks for the bolt number.

I had the same problem for my 2004 545 with xenon lights. its for your halo rings to light up. the bulb is hard to find and i think only the dealer has them. not sure on the price. I just ended up getting a pair of new angel halo led lights from trinity autosport.com for $99.00. it replaces your entire bulb and bulb housing plus it makes your ugly yellow halo rings a much brighter white look. just plug and install no problems or errors for me. Just my thought. hope it helps.

I didn't knew that it is so much pain to replace this bulb. 545Bimmer, you got it right.

I call BMW dealer and they said that bulb comes with holder and the cost of holder along with bulb is £24.00 VAT inclusive. I will go for that.

Thanks all for your time.

Hi,

Your bulb is a 10 watt H8 type which illuminates the halo or angel eye rings which surround the main headlamps (see also my post on "LCD angel eyes for Australian LCI E60" and you'll see photos same as yours). The reason the bulb you bought didn't fit was it seems to have just 2 lugs, whereas the H8 has 3 lugs. BTW it is a standard BMW part and should be available through your dealer.
