i've got some more questions...
are the auto wipers/headlights standard on the SE?
which radio(s) comes with a remote?
whats the service interval & after how many miles is the cambelt due a change?
I've found something I like, but does this e60 seem dodgy to anyone?

If my dealer was not familiar with Active Steering I would seek another dealer.
Find a friend or someone who is familiar with E60s to take a drive with you. I believe he/she could add a great deal of input to your decision on the options and other issues of importance to you.

haha, fat chance of that happening- e60's are so rare here, i'm probably going to have to travel 60 miles just to view one... with those odds you can imagine none of my friends have one

anyone know where the multichanger usually is? is it in the boot or glovebox or something...? because as far as i can tell there's no difference in the dashboard on cars which have a multichanger and car's that dont... :s
also WHAT THE HELL IS THAT hideous badge on photo 9 ?!?!???!
and anyone know why the steering wheel looks different? It says it's an SE... but is that an M5 steering wheel?

That badge looks hideous! I'm guessing the owner wishes he had an M5, so he is trying to make it look like one?I bought a 2004 545i back in January and love it. By the way when I bought the car it had just a tad over 37000 miles on it. Milage will vary from car to car of course. It looks like your on the right track with your research. Good luck!

My CD changer is in the glove box, I'm not sure if they are put in the trunk (boot) or not. I'm changing over to a Dension Gateway 500 system shortly so that I can use my ipod in my car. CD changers are so last century.
