I wipe mine over with a clean chamois leather each week just to keep the surface dirt off.

My Ride: 520d saloon, manual 6 ratios, olivin metallic, star spoke 122 alloys, delete boot badge, bi-xenon adaptive headlights including washers, graduated tinted windscreen, exterior and interior mirror auto dimming plus electric folding door mirrors, extended light package, dakota beige leather, dark poplar wood, electric seat adjustment including memory function, heated front seats, advanced climate control, velour floor mats, sliding front armrest, lumbar support for front seats.
I bought some Mer leather cleaner yesterday and did my seats. Came up really well and lifted all the dirt from the beige leather. Got this as it got 5 stars in the Auto Express product test and came out top.
Here's what they said:
"Mer Leather Cleaner
Price: ?7.99
Size: 500ml
It was a close competition for the top spot, but Mer's excellent cleaner narrowly edged ahead of its rivals. A brilliant all-round performer, it removed every trace of dirt on the leather, and it offers good value for money, too. The solution was easy to apply, the hide felt nourished and it even had a great smell. Over-all, it was a worthy recipient of our Best Buy award.
Verdict: Don't pay much attention to product names, as some cleaners left a better finish than the conditioners. The top three all removed grime, so ease of use and value came to the fore. Mer gives you more for your money, with Meguiar's Aloe Cleaner coming home in second and Meguiar's Gold Class Cleaner/Conditioner third."

i have always used bmw leather care cos it was free with my first e39 car.but this is my first black interior and it shows the dust the worst yet, so i am also wiping with a damp sponge or leather,
i had the autoglym protection on the latest and it keeps well without any treatment so far. but the dust shows all the time ...cant win

I use BMW brand leather cleaner & conditioner (all-in-one).
It comes with sponges, paper towels and gloves.
It was very reasonably priced (?16) and does a really excellent job. It's easy to apply, leaves a good smell and most importantly all all, it preserves the original matt finish of the leather.
I read somewhere that BMW just rebrand one of the Meguiar cleaners but I don't know which one.
