So a Few Weeks Back i came to notice that my left Headlight Washer Cap was stolen. i was pretty much sure that it was stolen where i parked in Astoria. So 2 days ago i park my car where i live and the next morning i happen to see that my right side Headlight Washer cap is stolen. So now im really pissed off and i have decided to invest in a blackvue dr500 dashboard camera.I hope i catch to see if any neighbors happen to hit my bumpers or scratch it. Even anyone attempting to steal anything else of the car, i will be able to record them while its parked.

I am purchasing the exact same camera. The cool thing with the Blackvue is they have an extended power adapter that limited the voltage of the car from dipping below a certain amount and will run for up to 72 hours after being stationary.
Call your insurance company -- some give discounts for a permanent camera install. Also within the Menu make sure you turn off the speed on screen display.

Maybe it was the same person. First the left then the right?
Anyway, I hear the Blackvue has a firmware, heat, and reliability issue. Maybe the older models and not the DR500. Check out dashcamtalk.com.

well i doubt it popping right off. i saw it the night before and there was a driveway in front.so some1 had to snap it off. i hope whoever stole the piece realizes that the piece would leave a gap in their car. as the mtech washer cap is smaller then the oem cap.

the blackvue camera is pretty sick and im trying to see how to fully function it to take advantage of all its pros. i have read the review from dashcam before making the purchase. i just have to do some rewiring so the cables are not visible
