That's true, what DD_545i said. There are no more options in Set-menu.
I changed language --> no help.

Playstation 3 is veeery much easier to configure!

Tomorrow I try to disconnect battery.

Truthfully I dont the think the batt reset will work. I would wait around and see if anyone else has the same issue, or maybe call BMW and see if they may know.

OK, I'm gonna put some trousers on and go into the garage to see where it is. We can't have you disconnecting your battery and leaving you with a LOT MORE settings that you're not happy with. Believe me, you don't want your battery disconnecting if you can avoid it.

Back: Oh, this has changed since I got my s/w updated a couple of months back. I never listen to the radio (except when the TP interrupts for traffic reports) so I never noticed that it doesn't show RDS at the bottom anymore for me. It shows it in the little menu (along with the arrow showing I can scroll). I'm out of ideas. I assume you don't have updated software and need someone who does.



My image there that I just took shows an issue I have. You see in the bottom left corner it says "HITRADIO". Well that's the name of the station (the RDS name) and as you can see I have RDS set (and the unit knows the name because it's displaying it in the bottom left corner). The weird part is that on the center part of the screen where the radio stations are shown, it's identified as "LOCAL-1" instead of HITRADIO. I won't lose sleep over it, but it'd be nice to know why.

Ok, I take your advice and wait - maybe someone is struggeling with same problem. It will be huge job to tune all settings again...
I asked local BMW-dealer (Helsinki, Finland) to update my system - guys face went grey and he started to mumble... They had bad experiences. Unbelievable. If You want to update, they'll do it but if something goes wrong - it's my risk. That's defenetly not the place, I will do it...
