And millions in discerning customers' dissatisfaction.

Saving costs can be good to a sertain point.

BMW should not be too gready - they are now on the top of Premium automobiles.

As we know, from the top there's only one way and luckily for us consumers,
the competition is there waiting.

I don't care if there is a new individualsomething system, the Logic 7 on LCI costs exactly the same as for pre-LCI...

I had same leather seats and, anyway, inside the seats there are the subwoofers, what sounds different are the side speakers, much different!!!

Given inflation that must mean to maintain the same selling price and a similar level of profit, cheaper parts may have been used.

That's not true at all... why all other components or options have the same price/quality? Why given the inflation the metelised colour costs same???

Inflation is not the point, this is just a wrong selection of components, just to save money. And it's not acceptable from BMW.

Funny, just few minutes ago BMW Italy called me for a post-sale survey... I've complained about it, mismatching trims, and bad painting of shark finn... let's see

It's a simple fact..

Overall the LCI in UK went up 4% on average since the last price rise. Inflation exists. Profit is needed. Sales volume is needed.

Work the rest out for yourself

Of course it's a fact... a stupid fact

The point is this: you cannot sell to customers what they are used to know as a product with a certain quality level , with same name and same price, but with noticeable lower quality.

If they would have called it Logic 6 or Illogic 7, I did not complain...

This is marketing

I take your point but, unfortunately, it happens all the time.

Take a marketing risk, upset a few, but make mega profit.
