My car sounds awesome!!!!!!! But I am wondering, some other 545i's have a Bose sound system. How is that compared to Lexicon's Logic 7?

I've got logic 7 paired with an Alpine R-type 12inch sub in the trunk...it's the most amazing sound system I've ever heard. I used to be a big car audio guy in high school/college...competed in db drags and the whole 9...logic 7 is totally awesome to me personally!

Which brings me to my next question, will a software upgrade give me additional surround settings? Can I not customize it the way I want in terms of delay etc.?
Also I wonder why they gave us bass and treble as well as equalizer settings, I guess the more options the better

I always found the Logic 7 system in my 545 and my 550 to be an excellent OEM audio system. I've also had Bose audio in both of my Porsches and again consider it to be perfectly serviceable factory installed system. Neither the Logic 7 or Bose can compare to say the Burmester, Bowers & Wilkins or Bang & Olufsen systems available in some higher end automobiles, but then again they are a fraction of the price. For me, both the Logic 7 and the Bose provide good value for money and are a worthwhile upgrade from the base audio options.
I have Logic 7 in my Mercedes and as in the BMW it's a very good OEM system.

I love my Logic 7. Took a while to get the EQ where I needed it, but now that its there I love it. Many people have complained about the bass using an AUX Input, but i haven't experienced any issues or loss in sound quality. I am a huge fan of Bose systems and have had them in other cars (and also have it in my home), but the Logic 7 rocks.
