Hey guys and happy E60 owners,

i ordered the logic 7 in my E60 (delivery around 20 august)

But I never heard it ever before, i just ordered it to prevent extra work after delivery.

I listen to a lot of reggae music like Bob Marley and the Wailers for example,
where a good bass for the bassguitar is very very important...

So can somebody tell if Logic 7 also rocks for roots rock reggae music ?

Thanks !!!

I haven't listened to any reggae on it, but I did listen to some rap music on a Logic 7 stereo with heavy bass lines (both CD and radio). Both sounded amazing and I am sure you'll be happy you got the logic 7.

Ok Aaron, thanks man !
So the bassline is amazing, i'm very curious now...
What's the power of the bass ?

i read that Logic 7 has not so much power but that the sound is very clear.

Does that mean that the bass is not so powerfull ?

The Logic 7 is pretty clear. I havn't heard a stock system sound better. The bass is there but, the car won't "thump" or anything. You can feel a little rumble in the car. Are you used to having an aftermarket stereo?

Yes normally I had a Kenwood system with JBL boxes/subwoofer, and it was fine...
But the car didn't rumble but the sound was ok...I hear so much good things about
it, which makes my expectations, probably not as they should be, high.

OK...that's what I wanted to hear ! That's absolutely the stuff I like.
Thanks, I'm pleased now...

They asked Bob Marley once, why he always drove a BMW...
He laughed and said: 'BMW means Bob Marley and the Wailers'

Lively up yourself !

I wouldn't say the bass is booming. People are right when they say it is clear, but that includes the bass. Even with volume increase, the clarity remains and the bass is so clean and tight, not sloppy...you will love it, trust me.
