Pink Floyd/ Dark side of the moon sounds crazy with logic 7
I hadn't heard it in about 15 years and decided that would be a good one to christen the L7! I waited until dark before cranking that one up. I also waited just to be more "in the zone" since the early part of the drive I was still getting acclimated to the car and the sound settings.
Once I finally started listening to the disc, my buddy that was following me in my soon-to-be-turned-in E39 walkie-talkied me a few times and I told him I was listening to the Dark Side of the Moon and I wanted to stop talking to him via the radio for a while.
He understood completely (and I think he was a bit jealous!)

Yes, everything sounds good on the logic 7, especially acoustic guitar.
My favorite so far is Piez Descalzos (Shakira's 3rd cd), because the recording is so clean and the guitar embraces you with the concert hall setting.

Pink Floyd's Delicate Sound of Thunder live CD's sound amazing. Deep Forest is great. I have a good DDD recording of Vivaldi's Four Seasons in there and the strings are incredible. Indigo Girls also sounds terrific.
FWIW, my wife and I brought over about 30 or so CD's to listen to on our ED driving, but we just listened to the beautiful music of that 4.4L V8 the whole time.

Why am I not surprised that the people here that share my taste in cars also share my taste in music?
In my changer, older Springsteen stuff, Pink Floyd (the final cut sound great on the logic7) on a daily rotating basis, Waters' solo stuff, the Doors, Marillion, Sinatra and some dutch pop from the 80's that my wife won't let me play in the house

I have always noticed that Vocal Trance/ Club Play is what brings out the system. I did it in my previous car, and I'm still doing it with the Logic7.
it is a must to have at least one trance CD
