Bad!
My 2004 E60 has the base audio system and a sub under each front seats. A 2010 E60 service loaner with the base audio/iPod interface but no sub sounded really weak. Definitely check out the sound systems in the showroom vehicles before trying to save some money by deleting the Logic7 option.

Depends what Base is where you are, if you are in the EU then the difference is huge but in the US its not that bad. Sure you'll loose a centre speaker and the equaliser but my Hi-Fi system with retrofitted Earthquakes puts a L7 system to shame.

And personally, I do not care for the DSP at all in the L7, and have tried to defeat it as much as possible. It simply takes too much away from the effort of the music production.

I used an amp made by a German company called XETEC. I actually bought it for the size and wattage (see my signature). But later I found out that Xetec made excellent amps and I've been very happy with my set up.

i have the base system in my e60 and the logic 7 in my e92 and there is a difference but the base system in the e60 is still very good IMO.
