Just wondering how many people use locking bolts. The same day I got my new wheels I went to the local BMW dealership and purchased their upgraded set. Ran me about $80 I think. Just trying to deter thieves I guess. I assume those with spacers don't have them due to the bolt length.

I researched the McGuard brand, but decided to go get the upgraded BMW brand. My dealership is only 5 minutes drive from me.

The UK is aslo known as the land of the stolen wheel, it would be stupid not to have them here.

I picked up a set for my wheels, and I am considering a second set from someone else (OEM maybe since I already have McGuards). Better safe than sorry.

I have some, ordered from England when I had the car on order. Never have gotten around to installing them (stupid), will so do shortly.

Yeah, I never bought aftermarket wheels for my prior cars. When I got my 710's I was determined to safe guard them as best as possible. At least deter any possible theft. Just wish they had them in a longer thread so I could possibly get some spacers.

Yup - using OEM ones on the summer 172's, but don't bother on the aftermarket 17's in the winter. If someone wants to take the time to steal my winter rims at -30c, good luck to them! Hopefully they don't lose all of their fingers to frostbite in the process...
