Smashing your window will cause the car to permanently lock every lock on the car until the alarm has been turned off.

Call AAA or a locksmith. They should be able to open the door handle from the inside with a bent tool. Once the door opens, alarm will got off but just hit the boot release and retrieve your keys. Happened to me a bunch of times. No broken windows or BMW assist needed.

If the car is locked, u can't get into or out no matter what. Even if u press the unlock button, its not going to work so don't smash ur windshield. Bmw assist needs u to have subscription to remotely unlock ur car.

Option 1: drill a big hole into ur taillight and reach ur hand in there to use the trunk release handle.
Option 2: get ut title, registration, insurance, ur id, as much as u can and go to bmw to get a new key. This is the best way and now u have a spare.
