a colleague of mine has almost finished rebuilding his E60 530d after flood damage (whole car was submerged in fresh water)
he has a few small jobs left to do, and has deceided to change the turbo as a precaution.

are there any sites that sell turbos for the 530d? apart from BMW parts directly.

 

Has he thought of a re-conned one. Universal or AE are both very good. He cold even spec his own turbo if he wanted a custom map

 

where can they be found paul?
i expect a standard one as hes not into modding

Sorry it was AET I meant. I have used universal and must say well priced and the turbo lasted longer than the car. They were very big in the cossie scene many moons ago and still have a good rep.
