My Ride: 2008 535i: June 6th start build, complete June 17th, at NY Port July 5th, at dealer July 10th, took delivery Friday July 13- Plantimum Bronze/Natural Brown Leather/Light Poplar, Sport Package, Sport Auto, Active Steering, Premium Package, CWP & PDC. Dinan Performance Software 384hp & 421 ft/lbs.

I thought I heard that new build e60 in the US will come with the red rear lower bumper reflectors instead of the black inserts we have all been seeing here. Can anyone confirm this?

Some are saying that is the case. I had to order mine from Bekkers imports on the net. $24 at the time I ordered. Now more

received car yesterday... black reflectors but mats included.

I recieved mine on Sat and it had the black inserts! I paid $33 total for my reflectors.

Absolutely no red rear reflectors will be delivered in the US on the E60. This is a DOT issue due to the amount and location of relection from the rear of the vehicle. Couldn't tell you the specifics...but Bekkers has already gotten my business. I have the two red inserts and a new radar detector...I just need the damn car!!!

I got my 545iA on 4/10. It came with the black inserts. However, I had already ordered the reflecters from bekkers and put them on the car at the dealership.
