great cars...but not pefect.
just develop a good relationship with your best local SA.
any pre owned has a few blemishes that are ususally apparent to the astute buyer , funny...lotsa times other issues don't show up until the transaction is completed..

May I suggest the following steps to help you solve your discomfort as related to the BMW:
(1) Purchase a Porsche 911, any year. If you are a true glutton, buy two, and make them both AWD and both cabrios.
(2) Purchase a used airplane, any make or model, but again, if you really want to forget the BMW, get a turbo, with RG, and full IFR capable.
(3) Marry a very beautiful and high maintenance Jewish American Princess
(4) Buy said Princess a Range Rover
(5) Have three children in your early 40's
If you stick to this simple 5 step plan, you will find yourself embracing the paltry repairs/delay/frustration of the BMW

IMHO - owning a BMW is like having a super hot supermodel type of girlfriend. She's hot, sexy, performs amazing, gets props from everyone, turns heads, but when something is wrong, it is NOT easy to deal with. ![Smile](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/smile.gif)
