LIN bus error
Hello everyone,
I have a strange fault code present: 9FF0 SZM: LIN comm. disrupted
i checked the fault code using ISTA and it wanted me to push the buttons and see it they go on.
when i press the button it activates, like the seat heating goes on etc, but it show the status ON on ISTA for like 1 refresh cycle and then changes back to OFF but in ISTA only, the seat heating remains physically on!
same goes for seat ventilation, but on the passenger side it only shows OFF, (but does work)
even stranger: it says the left block is the issue?!
any1 knows what i happening here? i have done nothing with the CCC besides placing a bluetooth adapter, but the code was already present before that.
Side note: i also have the code 9E60 residual heating field, seat cushion driver side, but i dont know what the problem is there and if its connected with the LIN bus error

So many different components can disrupt the Lin bus. It is not as simple as, oh, it's always this one thing. You are going to need to do some fault isolation (possibly a lot). If you do not possess the skills to DIY, I would suggest you have an electrical specialist diagnose the issue. Notice, I did not say have them repair it.

im confident that i can DIY it, but i might needs some pointers in where to start. to my knowledge nothing has changed and it seems inpropable that the wiring or something got defective inside the dashboard as nothing has changed
