I tried everything with them, rotating and all. The doors and foot wells that took those lights were plug and play though. I don't know how much the overhead sockets themselves rotate, but the entire socket assembly turns and can be removed from the board. Trinity recommended I do this to the pins actually when I PM'ed them and sent me a link to another board on how to do it. All I know is that when I did that, it worked, so I'm happy with it.
