Smile Lighting system stop vehicle! issue

Hey everybody
I just bought a 2007 bmw 525i, it's a nice car but I keep getting this error on the dash with a red car on a ramp. On the display it says "lighting system! stop vehicle" and tell me my right and left low beams as well as the turn signals don't function, but they do when I check them.
Does anyone know where the problem might be coming from?

any help is appreciate it. Thank you

It could be that you don't have the approved bulbs so you are getting an error. Clear the codes and see if they come back. The car does a check of all the lights each time the car is started so if there is a bulb out you will know. You could order the bulbs on eBay for cheap and switch them out, that is your cheapest route to finding a solution.

You have to do it with a diagnostic tool or at the dealer. Try AutoZone, some AutoZone stores will clear the codes and some won't. Try until you find one that does, the dealer will charge.
