My Ride: 2006 550i Titanium Silver Metallic, Black Dakota Leather, Anthracite Maple Wood Trim, Cold Weather Package, Premium Sound Package, Sport Package, Steptronic, Navigation, Electric Rear Sunshades, Heated Rear Seats, Sirius Radio
I'm really starting to get the urge to order the 550. I just am unclear about a few issues. 1. Is the anthracide headliner available as a no cost option in the US? 2. Can the lite Poplar wood be ordered in the US? What about aluminum? 3. Why is comfort access double the price of the same option in the e90? I want this but $1000?

ED 2007 550i 6-speed (sapphire black/black dakota leather): sports package; active stearing, hud/nav, logic 7, cold weather package, rear heated seats, rear folding seat, power shades, comfort access, sat radio
Are you sure the anthracite headliner is a no cost option in the US? I've asked my dealer to research this and he came back and told me that it is a $500 priority 1 option. Does anyone have a pointer to a sheet that lists this one way or another...

as for the interior choice question, the answer is that you cannot order it at the time the car is built, but you can have it retrofitted

Sadly, the only scanned 550 order I could think of was this one: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?act=Attach...e=post&id=10602 -- which was most useful because it showed the ventilated seats in combination with the CWP (something many people say can't be done). Sadly: (1) this order didn't have the anthracite headliner; and (2) it didn't show prices. I'll have to search some more....
