Default License plate lights/bulbs

Just wondering where is a good place/site that I can get the upgraded license tag kit/bulbs/lights. I've seen some on the road that are so bright they white out the tag and some that have the look but they are dim. Any help would.be greatly appreciated.

If you can, spring for the complete housing. Ive been running these from mtech for about 3 years with zero problems. They are pretty bright but not obnoxiously so and they put out a nice, even flood of light.

What I did is simply buy the BMW OEM license plate LEDs (which the E90 uses) and installed them. They look nice and stock. I also did disabled the bulb check on these.

MTEC BMW LED License Plate Light
I have the Mtech plate lamps and Angle Eye LEDs. Love they way they look. Only errors on cold mornings, which goes away once they warm up (2 seconds). Looks like the price went up on them.

Default DRL's

I have upgraded my angles 3yrs ago that got off the trinity autosport site. But I didn't upgrade the DRL's. If I upgrade the DRL from the Mtech site do I need to re-up grade the main angles from mtech to make sure they have the same brightness match? And color scheme?

My e60 is a 2010 and my DRLs are the angle eyes. Sounds like you have a pre-LCI model which I'm not completely familiar with the setup. I know the lamps are completely different. I would reach out to Mtech to see what they say. Good luck

I have 2 angel eyes on both sides so i guess ill go into my i drive and turn them on and see if they are the dim yellowish ones and change them out. I probably should get a lm2 module also

OP, I'm confused, in post 6 above, you said you upgraded your angel eyes. There is no provision for turning angel eyes on and off in iDrive. Your angel eyes are in fact your parking lights with a LM1 module.

What i was meant was in idrive you can can choose to have your drl on or off. I turnes them on yesterday and they were not white they had a dull yellowish look and i was inquiring about the drl bulbs bc id loke to run mine but i dont bc they look terrible. Idk if thats a separate bulb and do i need to get a lm2 to obtain more liting feature/options
