Hey guys on my 05 45 the leveling control light comes on(car in red on a angle) some one help me with info,when i turn the car off then back on it dosent come on...next thing on my friends 04 45 the stability light plus the active steering lights r on,,thanks...

I have a 04 545i as you can see by my sig, right about when I hit 45000 miles I began having random error messages pop up from time to time. From what the dealer told me, and the eventual solution to my problems, these cars have glitches in the computer systems from time to time, which explains why the error messages often go away after you let the car sit and "reset" for a bit. In my situation, the error messages became both more numerous and more frequent, with the problem being that my battery and alternator both decided to go out at around the same time. If the car is not generating enough juice to constantly power all of the systems you will get random error messages as whatever system it may be drops below its required power level. Long story short, after fixing my power problem everything is running great after about 8000 additional miles. Hope that helps, Anybody else agree or disagree?
