I agree with their choice of vehicle but just enjoy it for what it is (which is still way cool to me) rather than trying to make it into something it clearly is not. Reminds me of Top Gear when Clarkson thought he was buying the more powerful Masarati Murak until he saw the order form which included a $30 badge from the higher model!

Hey Guys! I just noticed...look at the diameter of the exhaust tips...could it be this is not even a 550?
More like 5er with an in line 6? I have noticed that the 535, 545 and 550 tips are slightly larger...but then again , it could just be me!

Should have mentioned that earlier, you are correct, it is a 530 at best (if you would). Most likely, this is a '04, 525i, with cloth interior, no sun roof, manual tranny (three pedal), and whatever else BMW through together with spare parts... Those wheels are the 18's from a 530i sport and the exhaust tips give it away that it is not a 550i.

Maybe it is, not that that's a bad thing - I have a 530, granted with some options. The problem with that car is 1) the stupid looking chrome side grilles and 2) the M5 badge, made worse by being crooked and DOUBLE badged!!!! My car has a LOT of M5 look to it front bumper, side skirts, OEM M5 rear bumper quad exhausts - however, I stopped short of putting any M badges on my car and I also will NOT put side grilles. My car is not an M5 and never will be. My advice to the owner of the car above? Dude, you drive a 5 series, a better car than most can have. Enjoy it for what it is instead of trying to make it what it's not

Absolutely nothing wrong with a 530. But be man enough simply enjoy what you have. We all buy different cars to meet different needs. Just funny how this guy upgraded to the 550 badge and then topped it off with the M5 badge!!
