My car has about 2000 miles on it so i figure its pretty much broken in. Today on my way home I hit a stop light with a G35 Coupe. Ahead of me was about a mile of uphill highway with some smooth turns. I figured the G35 would beat me (and it did) but I put it in DS mode and red-lined the car for the first time...The I6 felt great and has some great upper end torque. Anyways, the G35 and I got up to about 60, got next to each other and then pulled off. I kept up with him for a while, he was about 30 feet ahead of me when I backed off because i was doing about 100. We were right with eachother doing about 80-90 then he started going and i let off. I'm not at all bummed about loosing I was just glad to finally let the bimmer go! Man i love this car...

Good show. In a foot race, some say the slowest runner wins because what he or she does is much harder.

Good common sense. We'll see what you do when it is a car you think you have a chance to beat. Are you a real feman or what?

It is catching; my wife is loving the 4.4i X5 acceleration when she needs it--since she never has had a V-8. Still, she has had some fairly quick cars. The RX-7 in my sig was her's originally--long before all its mods.

There's no greater satisfaction than for the owner to enjoy his car regardless of everything around him. Alex, you are one happy bimmer owner.
