So this warning popped up last night.

Today I figured out what it is. The driver's side inner bulb (regular halogen - daytime running light) is burned out. Does anyone happen to know what type of bulb this is, and can I get it at a regular auto parts store, or is it dealer-only? How difficult is it to get at it to replace? Easier to take the whole headlight assembly out? Anyone care to throw out a link with instructions?

TIA for all the help..

If I am not mistaken I paid out of pocket $140 or $200 for replacing burnt out xenon bulb. Not covered under Extended Warranty =0(

Just the Xenon Bulb runs for about $90 i would have changed it my self but i could not reach the last screw that was hidden on the bottom of the headlight assembly =0(

Yeah, but it's not the Xenon one. It's the one towards the center of the car, near the grille. It looks like just a regular halogen when it's on, kind of has that yellow-ish tinge to it.

The high beam uses H7 type bulb. It can be purchased at any auto part stores. Replacing it is very simple plug-n-play.

Good to know. In that case then, I'll just have at it and pull it out and hit up the local autozone.

Thanks a bunch!!
