I'm sorry I offended you. I really shouldn't have said that. I didn't mean to dog all Mexicans as a group. Around here, we have a big problem of illegals driving around without insurance.

Pjinca, really I apologize for what I said. If I could edit that post, I'd delete that line. You are rite, it was an a$$hole thing to say. I really regret it now. I want you guys to know, I have nothing against Hispanics, my GF of 6 years is Colombian.

Once again, I'm sorry if I offended anyone else with that comment.

BTW what's a goober?

PM replied, no worries.

BTW, the LED's in the grille is still a silly idea. Sometimes you're different because you're bold, sometimes you're different because no one else thinks what you're doing is a good idea.

I personally think that people shouldn't be so quick to discount something new or different. The new i8 (for the time being) will feature this, and who knows, maybe it can be done right -- somehow.

That being said, the OP's comparison between brighter license plate lights to "doing the same thing to the front" does not make sense at all. Yes, the license plate lights are already there, and making it brighter is replacing bulb or housing. But there's nothing in the front. Not really apples to apples.

Urban Dictionary: Goober - basically a goober is just a kindhearted, rather oblivious goofball. it's term of endearment really. it comes from the ancient scottish verb "to goub", which has to do with doing a dance and smiling sheepishly while doing so, exposing the goubs in one's teeth.

i was just thinking the same. The first video is better than the 2nd, although not my taste. I would never dream of even taking a picture of wires run or exposed like that....let alone a toggle switch hanging there. Certainly you could find a way to tap into parking lights or something with no need for a toggle switch.
OP - up to you but if you decide to do something like this I think you'll change your mind shortly thereafter.
