Hi fellas, Has anyone installed LED bumper reflectors? I have already seen pics on other forums but a video will be great!
Has anyone seen this mod in person? How does it looks?

I am bored of bumper colored reflectors or whatever they are!

Here's the ebay link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/E60-03-10-LE...ht_5100wt_1057

I have them on my car and I love them. You do have to be careful installing because I messed up the right light and water leaked in and fried the whole light. I got error messages saying that all my lights were out. Checked the lights and found what fried and replaced it for $120. Next time I will not be in such a rush. If you get it just learn from my mistake and take your time installing you will be fine. I installed mine in about 10 mins without taking the bumper off. Maybe I should of taken it off. They are a great investment if you like to be different.

I know I'm asking for too much but it'll be great if you can post a video. Does your lights go brighter with brake lights?
How exactly you messed up while installing it for first time?

The lights are reactive to the breaking system. That is one of the cables you are tapping. I think I messed it up by not seating the light fixture back in right. I took out the light housing a little when i was tapping. Fishing cable will be the hardest part.

Doesn't look too bad, I wouldn't mind seeing a video of these in action too. Could improve safety, visibility under braking.

EDIT: Just saw THIS THREAD under the mods forum. 3 pages and install pics.

i like these..
however maybe a smoked version with red leds would be nicer. or just some VHT tint spray on these might look decent too.
the lleds in the bumper are cool, im just not crazy about the giant red reflectors in a silver, or black bumper per say..

do these give any error messages or problems?

I received my LED reflectors today. I'm not clear about the tapping thing. I read the other DIY forum but its not very clear as well.
Can you tell me which wires to tap with taillight wires. A pic of what it looks like before/after tapping would be nice.
I don't want to fry my taillights. Thanks.

Looks pretty nice, but I do to have the reflectors in my rear bumper
