It actually is.

I know it so well because I bought my car with fabric interior.

After getting a really good looking (even better than standard Dakota)
Nappa leather interior the sound inside did increase!

But no sqeaking etc. is caused by the leathers.

The fabric interiour simply absorbs sound better than "hard" leather.

If we had an acoustic engineer amoung us, I'm sure he could explain it better.

How is the leather noisy? What kind of pants do you wear? Patent Leather? Jeezzzz some people complain about everything. My leather is fine and I have never even heard of noisy leather.

Y mean that everything (all sqeaking etc.)sounds different in a car with leather.

OMG, you folks really have nothing else to do?
Is it noisy, well, heck, maybe!? But I don't think you will REALLY notice the difference! If it is so important for you, get yourself a cloth interior and send the money you saved to feed starving kids in Africa!

The leather in my interior is from a cow that is not alive anymore - so very silent indeed
