Leather dash

Ive just seen these pictures of the M5 with a the dash covered in leather. It looks wicked.

Is that available for regular E60's? If yes, how much?

But, AFAIK it isn't available for regular E60s... that would take away even more charm from the M5, wouldn't it?

Although with exclusive leather (yeah, I know, Euro option) you'll get the center console/armrest-part covered in leather.

Covering the dash with leather as a retrofit/after market thing could be possible.. but I suspect that you'd have to replace the entire dash in order to make it look good.

IMHO a leather covered dash isn't very practical. It would make the dash very susceptible to dirt and damages, whereas our rubber/plastic/whatever dash is quite robust.

You can get the full leather option with European Individual on an e60 which gives you the leather dash and the alcantara headliner - but its a further ?3000 over the previous individual pack and the only differnce is the dash and headliner afaik

I was considering getting it but I also thought it was possibly not such a practical idea on a dash the size of an e60, for cleaning / dryness reasons, despite loving the alcantara headliner that and it's very expensive

Also available on regular E60's.

I have not read about any forum member who has BMW Individual. And it's only available with Individual.
