leak from transmission + Crank shaft pulley Seal

Finally got my car on a ramp, E60 530D.
The oil leak I had was actually coming from two areas.
1) The main leak is from the the top of the (auto) gearbox but the Indy I gave it to couldnt be more precise without taking the gearbox out, strangly though the leak doesnt happen unless the car is parked on a slope and it also seems to have subsided since it started leaking! - Could this be down to over filling of the tranny fluid or are there any recalls for this problem?
2) The Crank shaft pulley seal seems to have gone and is causing the second issue - is this a hard fix? Anyone else had this issue?
I'm surprised Im gettingt hese issues as the car has only done 55k with full bmw service history

Never add oil above the recommended level. That is a sure fire way to blow a seal.

is leak number 1 coming from engine or trans? can you tell the color of the fluid? if its real dark, more likely engine oil....maybe a valve cover...
the first leak seems to be towards the back of the engine just below where the gear stick is , the second leak seems to be from the front of the engine.
The 1st leak is a kinda light brown the second leak (at the front) is more of a black colour
Strange thing is when the car is parked up on a flat road nothing leaks but when I park it on my driveway (25% gradient) I get a few spots
Fluid levels seem fine, with no warning lights and only a few small spots of oil, even though the undertray is 35% caked in sludgy oil towards the middle. Looking down into the engine from the top it all seems very dry and clean

the gear stick is not at the backof the engine....more like rear of the transmission. maybe you have a leaking output shaft seal, which would explain why it leaks more on an incline.
