LCI RETROFIT PLEASE HELP SOMEONE!!
Hello,

First, my name is Andrei, i've got a 530d from 03.2004 xenon headlights, cornering ligths, dinamic drive.I want first to change first the tail lights to lci.I can buy them original BMW lci tail lights for a good deal. From what i've read of I got two chances1.change LM to LM2(i beleve) or 2.buy bruce miranda's cables.
So far so good, but here is my question:if I got the chance to buy the LM from a BMW after 03.2005(i don't know which kind of LM is it(meening LM,LM1,LM2)and i can't get any serial nr.of it, I gest know the manufacturing date),should I buy it?does it help?and later can I change my headlighte also and use this module to make them work?

I've read a topic wich said that by changing certain pins(cables)in someLM(don't know which type of LM 1..2...3)you can make the tail lci work and also the lci headlights can work properly( no faults, no flashes,no bab light, etc)

First and first i want to change the tail lights, so what should i do?
PLEASE HELP, I'm CONFUSED!!!
THANK YOU.

The problem with the BMW retrofit route is that you MUST do the headlights and the tail-lights together. Failing which you will loose functions like the angel eyes etc. You MUST also change your LCM if you have a car that is older than 2007.

So your saying bruce the best way is to get the BMW LCI retrofit kit for the taillights and wire it up with the LCI headlights to have the function of the angel eye's? And also replace the LCM to whatever one is for the vehicle year that our cars are built on.

Thank you a lot for the info.
But in another topic i've read that if the car is over 03.05, it is possible to change some kind of connectors(pins)inside the LM and it works.
Also a BMW dealer told me this stuff.Do you know anything about it?
