In Europe, all E60 vehicles produced from 03/2007 were LCIs.

It was different in US, does anybody know? I've been googling for 10 minutes and couldn't find it. Even the official US LCI press release from BMW doesn't mention it.

Thanks!

Well, the whole "model year" is in fact just a cheap marketing trick started in 60's or 70's by General Motors to confuse customers, while reality is different

If Noquarter's LCI is 09/2007 I'm guessing that BMW started releasing them 03/2007 onwards just like in Europe.

Anyone with US LCI 03/2007 on the forums?

Here in Toronto, I have a 03/2007 2008 LCI 535i so I'm guessing U.S. got them at the same time. (Not all models are in both countries but this one was. For example, X1 is already here.)

I don't think it matters when it was released. Cars made before 03/07 were pre-lci and after that lci.

I'm guessing the answer is whatever month in 2007 they made the first 08 model year E60.
