Thanks, so in short: the jack on the middle console is standard but no acces through idrive.
The option 205,- for USb connector (in dash?) is an extra but gives total control of ipod through idrive
Am I right?

BMW have sen fit to place the USB2 interface next the AUX input at the back of the transmission tunnel - why they couldn't have put it into the glove box with its own power supply is beyond me. The other less than well thought through point is that it is still mandatory to have the 6 disc changer in the glove box when you order the media pack, It would have made sense to offer the media pack with either USB2 or 6 disc or both IMHO.

Wow! Cool!
Mine will be a bit later on the assemblyline eventhough I ordered it a couple of weeks ago.
On my order reg form it says: PW Subs 10/03/2007 and PW AG 11/03/2007. I believe that it means that the car will be assembled w11 (I don't know what "PW Subs" means? Anyone?!) * Could it mean that the car options can be changed up til w10?*

Congrats, sounds a very nice car TC.
Were you able to negotiate a decent percentage off list, or were they pretty stiff on list prices, relating to the LCI

No, I managed to retain the 12% off list and options noegotiated prior to LCI release - would be interesting to hear about other peoples experiences negotiating new deals. I did however have to stomach the ?1700 hike in list price that the 535d carries post LCI
They are quoting end of March delivery.
