LCI improvements?

Does the 2008 550 LCI still have the same
throttle lag issues as the earlier 545i models? Also,how
does the "retuned" sport suspension compare? Lastly,
is there more torque at lower rpms ? Thanks

My '04 530i step tranny shifted smooth.
My '07 550i step tranny has lag/slam
Same tranny?
Why difference in performance? tia

From my perspective throttle lag is a non-issue on the LCI 08 550 sport. Retuned LCI sport suspension is ever so slightly firmer than the 545 sport. The LCI tires are better so that offsets it slightly. The 545 sport suspension was slightly softer than my 01 530 sort. The 08 550 Sport is a spectacular car.
