The M-sport LCI is unchanged regarding bumpers. They had one at my dealer's when I visited the VIP session this Wednesday.

So does that mean that the LCI MSport doesn't get the LCI SE foglights and keeps the old ones?

My Ride: BMW 545iA Black Sapphire
Model Year: 2005
Engine: 545i
Just back from my dealer, made an appointment for progman 25. They had an LCI - wanted to check the taillights actually - turned the lights, they look really beautiful. Took some fotos with my mobile (sorry, they're crap).
The front angels are DLR, the inner one is especially bright. Nice.
On the rear I can confirm the brake lights are bulbs (not led) - the night lights are particularly BEAUTIFUL with the 5 led rods lighting up bright and blood red !!
They are definitely a bought item when/if they become a retrofit option, no doubt anymore.
The rear turn indicators are, as we know LED, but maybe not known is there are 3 lines kinda like rods (rods, similar to the night time 5 led rods) along the indicator that, when it lights up they have the same design as the night lights. They're really nice.

Nice to see one "in the flesh" but a pity it's the 520d which will be superseded in September.

Why take the time to be this negative? Who is it a pity for? It's a beautiful car and I'm sure the owner will enjoy it. I'm all for constructive critiscism but sorry, this doesn'y qualify.

BMW documentation indicates new fogs. But whether for MSport or not we don't know.

Perhaps BMW is calling the foglights 'new' as they have a different look from the front, but are in fact the same round assembly from pre-LCI E60. That would be the reason the 550i with M-Tech kit has the same round foglights as the pre-LCI.

? Subtle exterior changes:
- new front bumper
- new front light clusters (internal design changes)
- new front fog lamps
- new side rocker panel (side sill)
- new rear bumper
- new rear light clusters with LED technology (including rear positioning lights at side)
- rear boot number plate surround panel (similar to M5)
- new paint options
- new alloy wheels

And more importantly:
The air inlet is wider. Its modified exterior with integrated fog-lights bears an optical resemblance to the headlight cluster.
