LCI/CIP25 Bluetooth Phone Operation

My Ride: '05 530D Sport Auto plus bits.
I have a UK spec LCI model 530d Sport with media pack. The when in a call the new software version has a tab at the botton of the screen for selecting number for suffix dialing. I'm using two phones with the car, one is a WM5 PDA Phone, the other is a Sony Ericsson W850i, but none them pass the dial tones from the suffix dial numbers selected via the iDrive.
Both phones worked fine with the previous car where you had to press the iDrive in a call then select 'suffix dial' and the numbers to pass the DTMF tones.
It's causing a major problem as my voice mail and conferencing systems require numbers to be sent after the call is initiated.
Can anyone else confirm thsi problem with the new software or on an LCI car?
