LCI Auto engaging P when door open

Get a spare buckle and plug it in. Once the 'seatbelt' is locked in, P is not engaged when the door is opened, since the 'driver' is still in his seat and has the control.
So just to clarify, your proposed solution is, stop car, take off seat belt, fumble in pocket for spare buckle, plug spare buckle in, then open door?

remember guys to put the handbrake on when in "P".
but I guess you already knew that
