LCI angel eyes vs pre-LCI angel eyes

Hi everyone, I just learned from speaking to a member that preLCI models (I think that is 2007 and older) have different technology angel eyes compared to the new LCI (I think that is 2008-2009). On the older ones, it is one bulb per 2 halos and the newer ones, it is one bulb per 1 halo. That means the newer LCI models will have brighter angel eyes. Does anyone have side by side pics to compare how much bigger? I would think that with the conversion kits, especially LED bulbs) that people are selling, they would be bright either way.
It is strange because my friends 08 e92 has 1 bulb per 2 halos. Its a 2008 model and doesnt have 4 bulbs for 4 halos like the LCI E60.....and his is halogen bulb swap out, not LED. No xenon halos for both pre-LCI and LCI yet right?
