A warning to all new 535d owners...

As I'm sure you all know, the CO2 output on the LCI model is now only 182 and not 211 as it was before. When I received my Registration Certificate from DVLA, it stated that the CO2 output was 211! This means that the annual tax is more, and any company car tax is higher than it should be.

I eventually solved the problem by getting a letter from BMW UK which confirmed that my car was the LCI with the lower output.

DVLA told me that BMW UK had NOT told them of the new specification!

So - all you new 535d owners out there - check those Registration Certificates!

PS - Anyone know why I get a slight judder from the back of the car when I go over imperfections in the road? Might this be a loose back shelf or similar? I have had a good look and everything seems fine but...

In that vein have you checked the way the boot "floor" sits, tools, first aid kit, spare wheel if any, separators if not etc etc...

Got the same problem - Sent the V5 back a month ago (with a covering letter) and not heard anything yet. BMW has informed VOSA. Check my thread from earlier VOSA.
