Disclaimer Screen Disappears Automatically after 10 Seconds
MODEL
E60 (5 Series) with M-ASK (Multi Audio System Controller)
525i/525iA/525xi/525xiA from 03/05 on

550i/550iA from 09/05 on
INFORMATION
For vehicles with i-level E060-09-05-530 or later.
When turning on the ignition the following automatic sequence of screens are shown in the CID:
Disclaimer screen (10 seconds).
Main Menu screen (8 seconds).
Note: The Disclaimer screen can still be accepted manually by pressing the 'ACCEPT" button.
This function will also be activated on MY2006 5 Series vehicles with M-ASK after updating with CIP19.2 or a later version.
For programming/coding refer to SI B09 05 01 "Coding, Individualization and Programming", Procedure .
This function will also be available on other models during 2006.

Do you think it covers or does it say elsewhere that the E63 is similar?

But this is only vehicles with M-ASK, and my vehicle has E060-09-05-535 (CIP 19.02.03), and with CCC the lawyer screen does not auto-dismiss.

Oops, skipped right over the M-ASK bit. Nevermind. But it could come to a CCC soon I hope.

If you didn't have Nav I'm sure it would work the same. Others here with 545is and no Nav have reported the automatic time out as I recall.

Hey cool... but 10 seconds? too slow... I'll prob just hit the accept to bypass that screen faster. But if I do forget it thats a new feature! Now another thing to chalk up to give me reason to get new software!
